When Can I Buy Fireworks
It's important to be aware that firework regulations in Scotland have become stricter. Here's a breakdown of key points regarding when the public can use fireworks:
Time Restrictions:
Fireworks can be used everyday between the hours of 7am & 11pm , Except Scotland , where fireworks can be used everyday between the hours of 6pm & 11pm.
The Exception to this time period is
Bonfire Night (November 5th) when cutoff is extended until Midnight.
Hogmanay (New Year's Eve), Chinese New Year, and Diwali the cutoff is extended until 1am
Age Restrictions:
It's illegal for anyone under 18 to possess fireworks (with the exception of F1 fireworks)
Sales Restrictions:
Within Scotland , the sale of Fireworks are restricted to the hours of 7am - 6pm.
